To manage and control inventory by receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking supplies, spare parts, tools, and materials in a secure and organized manner. The Store Keeper ensures accurate stock records, proper storage, and timely availability of items to support maintenance and operational activities.
Certificate or Diploma in Procurement, Logistics, Store Management, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management.
Familiarity with stock management software or ERP systems.
Knowledge of mechanical parts and materials (preferred for transport/workshop store).
Receive and inspect all incoming stock items for quality and quantity.
Record stock entries and update inventory databases accurately.
Arrange materials and items in the store in a safe, organized, and accessible manner.
Issue materials, tools, and parts to staff upon request and maintain usage records.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with inventory records.
Monitor stock levels and initiate re-ordering when stock falls below minimum thresholds.
Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage or loss (e.g., secure, clean, dry).
Maintain proper documentation of receipts, transfers, and issued items.
Assist in preparing stock reports, audits, and inventory analyses.
Ensure compliance with company store keeping policies and procedures.
Report stock discrepancies or damaged goods promptly to management.
