Job Summary

To install, maintain, inspect, and repair air compressor systems used in BRT buses and workshops, ensuring efficient and reliable air supply for vehicle pneumatic systems and workshop tools.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

• 1- 2 year experience in working with industrial air compressors, preferably in automotive or transport workshops.

• Knowledge of pneumatic systems and air compressor components.

• Ability to read technical manuals and maintenance documentation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of air compressor units.

• Diagnose faults and repair or replace defective components in air compressors.

• Monitor compressor performance, air pressure levels, and operational efficiency.

• Perform lubrication, cleaning, and calibration of compressor parts.

• Maintain maintenance logs and report any issues or service needs promptly.

• Coordinate with workshop and engineering teams to support pneumatic systems reliant on compressed air.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Assist in installing new compressor systems or upgrades as needed.
